Post by: dupont#24 on November 05, 2009, 07:26:25 PM
I was just wondering and this may be a crazy thing to ask I am waiting on my stuff to come back from tt to put my fuel injection in sammy would it be easier to put my power steering kit in first before the motor.I am getting the kit from tt to put the power steering out of the tracker in the sammy.

6:1 one way, half dozen:1 the other.  The steering box is a pretty easy install and the pump requires the motor to bolt to.

On the other hand it gives you something to work on while you are waiting for the Fuel Injection.  :D

If that kit has you drill and sleeve 2 holes in the frame for the steering box, then I would do it before you put the engine in.  More room to work, without the engine in there.
