You should be able to get a stabilizer kit from your local parts store for a decent price.  Does your Samurai not have a stabilizer at all or does it just require replacement?

I use a Toyota mini pickup stabilizer on my SJ and custom made a mount off of the pitman arm running to the other side of the frame.  It works fine, even if it does add a bit of resistance to the steering.  Before that I didn't run one at all for years, the BFG tires were light enough and balanced themselves out to the point it wasn't required.
