I was just thinking of ways to help make my motor have more power and better gas milage. I'm also thinking about headers, gears, and a cam but i'll start other topics for those and actually theres alot out there about hearders so i won't have to for those. Thanks again for the all the help.

A belt drive fan can, but not all the time draw quite a bit of power, I would guess
that the Track/Kick fan draws about 5 HP at speed when it's locked in and pulling air.
The offroad racers have gone to all electric everything to get more power to the wheels,
I mean water pumps, fans and who knows what else, there is a reason. I had to put the
stock fan back on because of the turbo, the intercooler just blocked too much air, and it
gets hot also, so I was having heat issues on the road, but you could switch over to an
electric setup just fine.
I have a custom aluminum fan shroud and 16" fan mounted in it, I'd take $30 for plus shipping

I really want to stay electric are you saying the one your selling is electric? And what are the advantages of the one your selling? And pics always help. I really appreciate your input and your help it sounds like an electric fan is the way to go for about every one:)

let me think on this that looks pretty sweet.
I would just have to connect it to a switch then:)?
How much do you think to ship something like that?
And it would be plenty to cool my normal motor?

I would guess at about 0.5hp - and I will state my point of reference - electric extractor/ventilation fans considerably larger than that and moving more air than that are driven by what are called fractional horsepower electric motors.
Do your own research - get the amp draw of a comparable electric fan, multiply it twelve to take it to watts, and then divide by 750 to take it to horsepower.
Last but not least - remember this - for the majority of the time the vehicle is in use, the fan does not operate - it is actually "free wheeling" in the air stream created by the vehicle's forward motion, so whatever maximum power the fan consumes, will only be consumed in situations where there is a combination of high engine rpms and no or low forward speed.
There are a couple of guys around who have swapped out the clutch fans for electric and will tell you that there was very little benefit from an mpg stand point - I haven't done it yet, but it is in my plans, and my reasons are noise and water crossing - not horsepower or mpg.

I have used the AC electric cooling fan all year, and removed the fan from water pump. The only time I use the fan is when in 4x. I need it when loading the motor at low speed (less air across the radiator). I put a jumper across the AC plug that goes to the AC separator, and used stock AC wiring (lazy). I would recommend getting an electric fan control kit (uses water temp to control fan), then you won't wait until the motor gets hot to remember to turn it on. I have no idea what it does to my MPG, but it is nice to work around (no fan turning when checking engine compartment with motor running).
I do not have a shroud, but I do not have the extra cooling required by a Turbo.

I also run an electric fan in place of the stock fan, but did it to be able to shut off the fan during water crossings. It does make motor maintenence much easier too. Get a good relay, and thermo switch. I always forget to turn mine on. Of course, the thermo switch and relay need to be reliable. Those are the only parts that FAILED on my trip.
