Title: Gas Tank lift????
Post by: S.Sidekick on November 07, 2009, 09:10:03 PM
Hey wuts  up, so i have been learnin to weld now and that makes modifying the kicker a little easier.  i just made a new cold air intake that incorprates the Mass air  flow sensor, and air temp sens, and mounts to factory bolts. Now i want to lift my gas tank because of the results of the BDy lift.  Is this worth doing? if so correct me if im wrong, but since the body changed gap wize, i should just be able to make 2" longer brackets and raise it right. Will any hoses become stretched?

Here is a X90 (Sidekick) without gas tank lift & 3" body lift. And with tank lift mod. We cut out the wimpy steel tube Suzuki mounts the tank to & ran a cromo 1.75 / 120 wall tube in it's place. Cut factory mount tabs off & re-welded them on "top" of the new tube. See more pic's of a tank lift on this small site. www.generationx90.com (http://www.generationx90.com).
