Title: noob question... do i have a 16v or 8v
Post by: ar15tac on November 09, 2009, 08:32:34 PM
It's a 1995 tracker 2 door with a manual tanny with 4wheel drive.  If i need to look at it to tell the difference what differences can you see.  I'm new to these zuki motors  I'm used to my 351w in my 66 stang.

If you have a alum. valve cover it's a 16v.

i the plugs go through the valve cover like the  photo posted above , then its a 16valve  1.6.
if the  plugs go in above the exshaust manifold   and not through the  valve cover , then its a *valve 1.6

Umm, no.  The 95 2wd 2 doors still had the 8V.
