Title: Climate controls light?
Post by: bentparts on November 11, 2009, 01:44:19 PM
This is going to sound like a totally noob question, but is the heater/ac control levers panel suposed to be lit with the running, head lights on ? For that matter, how about the gear selecter sheet in an auto, you know, 1,2,3,N,R,P? I don't ever remember them being lit, but as it's getting darker earlier, and my eyes are getting older faster, I'm wondering if they should be. Thanks guys.

Did you go with a straight white conversion or switch to blue lights?

Hmmm, you know Drone, I didn't even think about it. I just put the green " condoms" from the old lites onto the new ones. Come to think of it, my head unit, and sirius are both blue back lit, maybe I can find some blue " condoms" at the local autoparts store and give them a try. Sure is nice to have them both lit after so long, looks like a new dash!
