  Hey I'm new to the forum and have been playing with zuki's since I was 12 when my dad got one, but i just got "my" first Samurai. Nice 86 I payed $400 for, it running and almost legal for another $30 invested in headlights and wiper baldes, and already got to play in the mud with it. Now I got he intro over with The real Question is have any of ya'll seen the kit to make the tail gate fold down instead of out for the Samurai. I saw it a long time ago on the internet but I cant remember who had it. If not I will have to build one myself, any help would be apreciated.

umm i have heard somthing about it some where but don't recall where.  i have heard that you can mod the hinges to take the tailgate off. 8)

I have never seen it as a "kit" from any of the major vendors. One of the Zukiworld members (I can't remember the name?) from Alaska posted pictures of his fold down tail gate approximately 3 months ago. Try a search ;)

Rear tailgates that fold down are so cool.  Would be nice if Suzuki would incorprate one in their next 4x4.  :-*

  Thank for the help, I guess I will just build it in that case. I'll post some pics after I get the tailgate fixed like I want it. Heck I'll post some pics after I get some more mods on it, its stock right now.
