Been lurking for a while now and decide to say hi
HI
Picked up a 95 Tracker few months back to be a temporary daily driver till my settlement comes in, (Sheriff decided to use my Pt Cruiser to stop his f350) and then put the work into it, But the bug has bit me and I'm getting ready to start some of the work... OK OK I really can't stand the Neon Blue wheels and need to get them off :P
I picked up the 2" coil spacers and was planning and going with 30x9.5 on 15x7 with 3.75 backspacing but came across a deal on 31's for $100 dollars cheaper.
I've read and read till I was cross eyed and confused myself with all the different answers, Can I run the 31's on the 2" lift Street driving only with minimal problems or should I stay smaller?
-
you can, if you don't mind doing a bit of trimming, if you run a body lift as well, you wont have to trim as much. it will also depend on the tire, some 31's are smaller than others.
31 is a common size on kicks.

Ya with 30 to 31's your probally looking at doing some trim work on the front fender. here is a link to my 94 tracker build up with 3 inch lift and 31x10.5's I had to trim just the backside of the front fender to get my tires to work.

Went ahead and ordered the 2" body kit from Rocky Road so I'll have about 4" of lift, even though I say it'll stay on the streets I know I'll find a trail or 2 to play on. Hopefully this will be enough to pacify myself till I pick up an new daily driver or just steal my Nitro back from the wife
