Swapping to a 93 1.6 16v, and have to install the sidekick VSS into my samurai speedo. I have the sensor pulled out of the sidekick speedo and ready to go.
Now for my question, the two wires that you hook to the VSS that one wire goes to the ECU and the other is a ground.
Where does the wire hook into the sidekick ECU and will this complete my check engine light circuit?
Any info would be amazing.

Your trying to make me think, If I remember one wire went to ground and the other went to a yellow wire on the ecm, the red white and blue wires for the egr on mine were cut and the little switch was removed so the light would not come on every 80k or so and the wire to make the light come on all the time was then hooked back up, hope this helps.

looks like pin a7 on the A connector is where you find the yellow wire to hook to.

Alright did some more digging around in acks FAQ.
Found the Engine wiring diagram for the 92 to 95 1.6 16v
http://acksfaq.com/ewd_92-95_g16_mfi.htm (http://acksfaq.com/ewd_92-95_g16_mfi.htm)
Two wires come off the VSS....
A yellow, which connects to the A7 port on the ECM side.
Black wire that comes off is just a ground.
Makes no difference which screw you hook the wires to, no polarity.
So i got that all sorted out, still unsure if this will complete my check engine light circuit.

Who did you have modify your gauge?
I see the a15 port to the EGR, but am unsure why it was cut?

did it my self home brew style, I have a stack of papers here from 2003 trying to remember whats what, I fixed it on the above post I had the eight valve drawing, on my paper work it says not used, the b13 violet/yellow the ecm grounds this to work the engine light. hook up to the engine light and the other one is a test wire.a15 blue/yellow.

this is where alot of the diagrams came from, http://www.yankeetoys.org/Docs.htm (http://www.yankeetoys.org/Docs.htm) but I can't seem to find the mini4x/efiswap/efiswap.htm so maybe you have to log in to find it or it has been removed?
