What is the difference between calimini strut and stock strut on grand vitara

I have been told by Jake at Calmini that their struts are actually made by Monroe. I think as long as you don't over-extend them too many times they work fine. My Calmini struts blew out after 1000 km of driving but that is because my truck was lifted too high because Calmini's old hot-wound coils are in no way designed for the actual operation of a motor vehicle on any surface, off-road or paved road.
