Post by: smallcrawler on November 29, 2009, 07:39:57 PM
I did a search on this and found severl posts but they were dated. So have they gotten any better? I may be looking at one so what do I look for or look out for.

It's a conversion kit to mount either a V-6 or V-8 from a Chevrolet into a Suzuki Samurai or Sidekick. I have no experience with this kit but I also have heard mixed reviews. Most of the complaints seem to involve the customer service and sometimes the quality of the parts. From the complaints that I have heard, I have gathered that those who have bought the big package that includes motors/trans, were given motors with questionable mileage or use i.e. were they in a front end crash etc. Check out what the Better Buisness Bureau has to say about them and make your determination from there. If they don't have any complaints on file, then maybe it would be best to find your own motor/tranny that you know that you can trust and just buy one of the basic kits.

I have the GV 2.5L V6 from liberty overland and I am very happy with the results. Lots of power and it's all suzuki. My T-case with my gears even bolted up..
