My 87 Sammi w/stock carb. cable unwound, i replaced it with a Napa cable
pedal very stiff double checked all connections and routing good, help ???
-
You might need to oil it and let the oil work it's way in for a bit. Is it stiff even without it hooked up to the carb?
-
I'll try that thank you, no it's not stiff with carb. end unhooked i also
unhooked pedal end with carb. end hooked up feels smooth and normal.

Turns out the final solution was to get an OEM cable. The aftermarket NAPA cable would last only a very short while.

Well i tried lubing no help so i will buy an OEM cable like i should have done
from the beginning.
thanks again for everyones input :)
