i just got done rebuilding my motor on my track/kick it has ran maybe a total of five hours all together and i had a falty oil preasure releif valve so i had to tar down the motor agin and also had a bad piston but what you think about reusing the new used head gasket? Now dont laugh to loud if you think this is a dumb question

Heck I have blown head gaskets on used older ones out in the desert and loosend up all the head bolts and torqued the head back down by hand and hit the road and not look back at 110 deg in the shade, even had the heater on and melted the inside plastic parts it got so hot, never did change it.oh ya if your worried use some silver paint on it.

I know the head gaskets are about
$80-100 so I can feel for you wanting
to reuse it, worst case is it blows and
you have to get another one.
Best case you don't have to buy a new
one, and you can use silver paint, or
some copper coat Permatex, helps to
seal the gasket.
