Title: Manual Hubs
Post by: AndrewK on December 07, 2009, 06:18:58 AM
Hey guys,  My hubs finally crumbled off this morning.  The tracker is my way of getting to work everyday, so I need to get them replaced asap.   Anyone reccommend the best "bang for your buck" hubs?  I'm up in canada, so if anyones got some good deals, or has some to sell!

I ordered brand new Rugged Ridge Hubs from Conversionradiator.com.  $96.64 no tax, and free shipping...don't know if free to Canada though.  Here's the link http://www.conversionradiators.com/servlet/the-481/AVM-Hub-dsh--All-Geo/Detail (http://www.conversionradiators.com/servlet/the-481/AVM-Hub-dsh--All-Geo/Detail)

Yup. those are what i bought.  105$...they had free shipping,  but to canada it was 39$.   for 150 i figure its not too bad.  Hows the quality on these? just bolt off bolt on?

So far so good.  Very easy install.  Just hard to get used to how different they look than the stock hubs.  I'm sure with as cheap as they were, they are probably not the best quality, but I rarely use my four wheel drive, so I don't really need to spend $300 for hubs.

That's $300 Canadian???   :o  Holy cats man, that would be like $32,493.88 US, right?
I remember when the US dollar was worth more than a Canadian Dollar.   :(

Wow, there is no way I would spend that much money on hubs.  I bought some Warns thinking it would be an upgrade and was I disapointed.  I stick with the oem's now.

I was just exaggerating what a premium set of hubs would cost....I only spent $97/US.  Wow guys...chill out.

Are the premium ones stainless steel or gold plated?  Cause that would be amusing.
