Light on means the shift lever is in 4WD and the air-operated clutch valves are in the correct position and holding pressure.  If you have no drive, it is likely that the pneumatic actuator is failing to move the clutch into engagement.

An alternative is that the valves or the actuator are not holding pressure, but the pressure switch has stuck shut.

Both scenarios would require a strip-down job of the front diff.

Did you get your problem fixed.  I am new at this but do understand how the 4wd works.  If you still need help please explain your problem along with what you have done so far. Had it been working and just stopped or has it never worked since you owned the car.  This is needed so I know if someone before you might have modified the 4wd system.
