I am pretty sure someone has posted pics previously of a Kick that had the factory bumper cut down. Anyone know where they might be?
-
You don't really need to cut them down. You can pretty much peal the plastic covers right off, then it has a Road Warrior look to it. If thats your thing.
-
Just ram a J**p a few times, and peel off whatever's left. >:D
-
Thanks guys ::) I'm looking at ways to keep it looking fairly Factory but with some extra clearance for that 'stealth' look. This one will have no bodylift either as I want to keep it low.
-
Well I'm sure there are better photos out there, but heres one I got handy....Sorry for no grill representation, I'm still working out my real bumper, although this stock one has saved me a few times as I play between working....

Like ppl say, just remove the plastic and a quick coat of black spray bomb.....ghetto custom.

If the plastic comes off which I'm trying to avoid at this stage then it will get a bar fabbed for it. What I'm looking for is pics of the plastic that has been partially cut away.

My display pic of my tracker is what your looking for...I cant seem to load it on for some reason though...If you can click on it and enlarge it you will see I have cut away the bottom part and left just enough to cover the 5 mph styrofoam looking bumper...I then added a small winch and sprayed it all black...I have the pic if someone wants to upload it from me...
-
Is like what you're looking for?

Maybe there's an intercooler under there like on a WRX >:D

The Factory diesels had the scoop.

The Factory diesels had the scoop.
If only...there were more diesel Trackers out there... that would be...AWESOME!
But I dunno, those Cummins 4BT are great too >:D Too bad those engines probably weigh almost as much as my car lol!
-
Can you imagine an alison tranny under a track kick..........dear god.
-
The Factory diesels had the scoop.
I had to look up where you were from with that statement. :D

We didn't get them either.

What markets had the Diesel Tracker then?
I know of one just north of me in the Sedro-Wolley area. No idea how the kid got it, but it is a stock Diesel Tracker.

Asia and Europe

All the post 1999 Euro first gen Vitaras had the scoop. Mine is a 2000 model petrol and yes I have a snorkel too. Its best to blank off the scoop if you wade becuase it dumps all the water over the alternator and starter motor.
