Ok, I want to change my intake to a K&N and I have seen people remove a lot of stuff off a Samurai motor that is un necessary. My question is what vacuum lines can I cap off? BTW I have a 86 samurai 1.3 Carbureted

The stock hitachi carb requires most of those vacuum lines, I wouldn't look at capping them off or removing them unless you switch to a Webber setup or a side-draft.

If you go to Acjk's FAQ and do a search for factory service manual or fsm, you will find a page containing the 1988 Samurai Factory Service Manual in three parts.
The second part of the FSM contains a drawing of the emission control system - Figure 5-1-1 on page 5-2. It shows that the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve is connected through a tee to the valve cover and a port on the air filter.
I hope that this helps!
