Title: Which wire is for the tachometer on a 90 tracker?

My hanes manual says yellow/black.
I am doing the vw diesel swap and need to run a tach converter from the geo tracker alternaotr P or Y terminal to the tach meter wire.
but cannot find anything.

i know stock it was hooked to the distributor.
I can only find blac/green, black,blue, brown/white, red,yellow?
any info thanks
