Title: CB placement

hey just wondering where everyone is mounting there cb on a 2-door trackick not much room in the front and  i like my radio where it is  and just dont know where else to put it

depending on if your radio is a single or double you could put it under the radio

I have a small cb , took the ashtray assembly out and mounted it there.

I did the ash try thing too.. Only down fall is hearing the CB on the road. Had to mount a remote located speaker to hear it over wind noise.. (it's fine without it on the trail).

I mounted mine on the wall behind the drivers seat but it's a truck so that really changes things. I used to mount it under the dash but lost a few to water damage.....the GF would get really pissed if I got that much water in the zuke now.

thx guys i just finished mounting it and i removed the clock,ashtray,cigarette lighter cut the plastic out ,then cut plastic molding to fit tight the covered it with a thin piece of black plastic .I'll try to post some pics took my time and i impressed myself the way it turned out
