i was wondering if anyone knew hoe to get more power out of the 1.3

How much do you want to spend? They respond well to a larger carb and a free flowing exhaust and header, beyond that the 1.6 swap becomes more cost effective.

THERE IS ALOT YOU CAN DO. More importanly what are you wanting out of the engine. Depending on your use is going to dictate what mods should be done. maybe list some of your uses and i'll get back to you.

another hand needing direction on HP improvements.  Thanks for the help on the timing.  My stock 87 ZUK now has a Weber 32/36, 2" exhaust with turbo muffler, no cat.  My next plan of attack is new cam and thorley header.  As thread initiator, I am on flatland but we have a lots of mud in SE Texas.  Any advice on which cam to install?Thanks
