Title: toyota engine in a 87 suzuki samurai

does anyone have any information about puttin a toyata 22r fuel injection engine in 87 samurai??? would it be best to put engine trans transfer case and axles in??

I rode with a Sami with this swap.... not sure what all it took to fit the motor and tranny in but it was in there.... ran good too. Those motors are tough.

I don't think there is an adapter to mate the 22r to a Sammy tranny.

i was thinkin of puttin everything out of a toyota under the sammy... engine tranny transfer axles...

i ran with a guy running just that. only thing left is the bits of chassis, and the body. everything else is toyota.
