I wonder if anybody can tell me anything about a Sammi top I have. It is a 2 piece hardtop but the back is a lifting lid like a toneau cover and the back window is right behind the seats and has a slider in it. Any info?

A bikini top with a dust cover thinger?
Does it look like this:

Very similar, but it's a hardtop with a lifting cover and a rear sliding window.
-
Whata get rid of it? ;D
From what I've heard its not one thats easy to come by.

I've got a guy that says he'll give me 150 for it, but I'm not really sure what they're worth.

i saw a few of those |removethispart|@ zukimelt. i think they look cool. and prob worth more than $150... just my 2cents :)
-
post a pic of it? you could get $150 for a beat up one.

I think I would definetly be a checkwriter for one of those tops for my Sammi. If it's in good condition I'd cough up a couple more bucks. Like brace said...post a pic.

I think Max is talking about this.

That's the one. Holy crap!! A grand for that top new? Looks like the asking price just went up. ;)

Yep... guy down the street bought a similar top for $700... and was happy to find the bargain.
(I wish they made them for the 94 'Kick.)

The problem with making them for the Kick is the rear seatbelt towers :-/

Yeah... but it seems to be the back window part that the makers can't figure out. (The 95 and later must have a different style mount???)
For the '94, you can get 2 of the 3 pieces. Some day I'll have to see what's different on the 95+.

It shouldn't be that difficult to make the whole thing out of fiberglass...it would look ridiculous with the seat belt towers though...of course you could just make them uprights for a rear wing ;)
