Title: cv boots and lift

ive got a spacer lift and im having trouble with cv boots tearing. ive went thru two sets .i just installed new boots tonight but they look awful tight. anyone else have this problem?     thanks matt   ps  the lift is one of jeffs 1.5 front 2 rear

put in a smaller spacer. or drop the front diff.

there is several companies that make the diff drop brackets.  none of them advertise here so I'm not inclined to tell you who so you will just have to go surfing.. I gotta support who supports us :police:

some people fab them up by cutting and rewelding the stock ones but from my recollection they are cast and welding to cast iron with any kind of strength can be tricky unless you got skills.

One trick I have used is to loosen the small clamp, and remove it,
then slide the boot over the bump on the shaft towards the CV
 joint, this gives it a little more room to move without tearing
