So the 2 inch lift is on, the 1" spacers are on, the 235/75/15's are mounted to 15X7 cragar black steelies, and they are on......my 03 tracker looks amazing...but it needs flares........bad. I know JC Whitney has some generic roll on stuff. Is anybody using this? Any pics? Anybody know of anywhere I can score ZR2 flares or something aftermarket?
-Thanks

I'm also interested in this.
I plan on picking up Jeff's coil spacer kit within the next month, and was also wondering about fender flares once I put on larger tires...
Has anyone out there put fender flares on one of these Gen 2 rigs?
-
i'm hopin to make some changes to my rig this comin season, sooner than later and will be chopping my fenders for a little extra space if things go well.........so what does all this have to do with flares? i have a ZR2 with factory flare that will need to come off and I will sell them on this site if anybody wants them. they are scratched up and used as expected from a bush truck but not cracked. i did trim the bottom mud flap pieces off cause they just get in the way.

Flkexy flares, saw them on a rig up here, looked great
-
2" flares, they drill right under the lip so there isn't an issue in the rear.
These are 31's with 1.5 wheel spacer, 7" rims and 3.75 back space.

What kind of flares are those, and where did you get them? As usual, your tracker looks mean.
-
djaychris, you've got the exact same set up i'll soon be rocking on my '00 Vitara 2.0L. Where can i see some pics!?!
toofaroffroad, i too would love to know where you got those flares. btw, nice Tracker!

Hey guys, look at my link above. Could be wrong but I think you'll find his flares in there
On a 4dr they could be cut and modded to work OK if you want to use the side mounted set.
-
djaychris, exactly how far are your tires sticking out past your stock fenders?
I'd love to see pics of your truck with your new lift and tires if you've got em.
-
GM sells the zr-2 flares, but the complete set if over $500 total. Some guy on cardomain did it to his ride. I didn't want to spend that much, but I did score a complete rear flare set at a junkyard. I'll probably have to buy the front flares new though.
I'm not sure which style flexy flares toofaroffroad used, but my brother had these on his truck and I thought they looked stupid. The zr-2 flares really give it the look imo.
-
My tires stick out about 1 inch past the fenderwells. I'll try and get some pics up in this thread soon.

Sorry for the late reply. Mine are the Flexy flares. Same link as above. I think mine are 2.5 inch and they don't have the metal trim. So easy to install and cut.
-
I took a couple close up shots so you can see how they mount. Also these are 3" wide.
-
why not just use stock flairs from a grand vitara?
i believe they stick out about 2 inch

Off topic but can I have the part number for your rims? They are 15" right?
-
The rims are 16" sorry I don't have the part number, they are 16x8 Dick Cepek DC-1 and have a 1.5" spacer behind them.
