Title: Toyota axle swap
Post by: Dazookster on February 04, 2010, 09:22:52 PM
Okay haven't been to the junk yard for a while get too many ideas like my latest one i'm putting a Toyota PS pump on my rig to help turn my 33's have had sidekick on there for almost 4 years its wearing out.  So wandering the junk yard i saw it an fj-60 in perfect (junk yard standards) condition meaning it has what i want on it the axles.  So after payday i'm gunna get it i'll have to start a build thread when i get them. Has anyone here done a swap with fj axles i know mini truck ones are popular but these have the rear off set.  And i think they would be just as tough.  Let me know.

A few years ago Heather and Nate did 4 Door SAS build and I believe they used the FJ axles. Do a search of posts by user 'hcgalvin' and you should find some info.
