Get a brake spoon and adjust them, pretty easy, just got to
remove the rubber plug at the bottom of the backing plate,
lift the wheel off the ground, or remove the wheel and tire
so you can turn the drum to check if it's getting tight.

If you have lots of miles, you might need new brake shoes, that
was my problem when I thought I needed to adjust the brakes,
what I really needed was new brakes, not adjustment

The rear brakes are self adjusting.  There is no plug to remove or a spoon used to adjust them.
What I do after I've had the rear drum(s) off for whatever reason, is to drive in reverse and step on the brake pedal..........I repeat that procedure several times to adjust the brake shoe clearance.
If you need to adjust the parking brake, then do the procedure above, to ensure the shoe clearance is adjusted properly.  Then you have to remove the console from around the parking brake lever and at the back of the parking brake lever there is a bracket with the brake cables attached to it.  There is a nut associated with this bracket and you turn the nut to tighten or loosen the cable tension.  IIRC, the proper adjustment is when it takes 7 to 9 clicks of the parking brake lever to firmly set the parking brake.

I thought I did mine that way??? Or it might of been on something else and I'm confused,
anyway, new shoes aren't that much $$
