The asshole that had my 89 Kick before cut all the wires for the stereo, or at least cut the plugs, i re-ran wires for the speakers with rockford fosgate wiring, so thats covered, but i cant seem to figure out which wire was the power and which wire is acc. Could someone help me out. At least tell me what freaking color the damn thing is?

Just get a volt meter or a test light and check the leads, the one with power constantly is your red wire also known as power constant or your (+) wire on your deck, the wire that only have power when the key is turned on is your yellow or Switched power (acc) wire.

i know what wires are what on the deck, i was just wondering right now because some guy is coming over to look at the truck and i want the cd player working but i dont have a voltmeter.

You need a volt meter cause your never goign to be able to find the wires without one. See if you have a buddy with one you can borrow, you can pick one up cheap at wal mart. It doesn't have to be really nice just something so you can see if there is current going through the wires.

got it all hooked up, used the light from the ashtray as a tester
