So I live in Toronto Canada and am about to do Jeff's 2 inch coil spacer lift... I purchased a set of crown vic shocks but when I saw the price of the camber bolts I nearly crapped myself...They want $50 for those 2 stupid bolts...If anyone is selling any or can get me some shipped to canada for under $20 please help me out...
Thanks!

I have not had great luck with the camber bolts. They always seemed to slip when pushing the truck in extreme angles causing to have realignments often despite double checking the bolts for proper tightness. So besides their expense I feel they are not reliable. I have replaced them with stock bolts and just filed the holes for adjustment. I haven't had a problem since.

BARLEY, I would also recommend slotting the holes instead of using the camber bolts. Slotting holes is also FREE!!

What is this slotting of the wholes you speak of?
-
The lower mounting holes for the struts. Slot the struts not the A-arm. This will allow movement, just like the camber bolts do. Search on here there is a thread and pics of how to do it.

Camber bolts are available here for about $20 a pair.
I did the slotted strut mod, didn't like it, it slipped and
would not keep the adjustment I wanted

I've NEVER had a camber bolt slip. Use the washer with tang they provide , torque them properly, no problem. I even coat mine with nickle anti seize to keep them from corroding and NO SLIPPING. Of course, I torque mine to almost 100 ft lbs.

With the camber bolts do you just put them in and tighten them up? I'm pretty confused with this whole alignment thing...I've done timing belts and water pumps and brakes and everything else but I'm lost when it comes to alignments...thanks

They have a built in " cam" that rides inside the the strut mount. Better leave it to a pro if you have never done it.

I found a good pic on another site of how to slot the struts...seems like I can do it myself and will be free as mentioned...would a drill work as I only have a crappy rotary tool...
