They better do something because MSN did an article a month or so ago and in it they said no other manufacturer suffered as huge a loss in sales in 2009 as Suzuki.  Something in line of down 78%.  It sad too because there is not ONE Suzuki dealer in the greater metro Detroit area or even surrounding area.  My Neighbor liked the SX4 but didn't buy one because the nearest Suzuki dealer is hours away.  And what would he do for service?

The same happened to my sister in California.  She loved, loved, loved her Grand Vitara so when it came time to get a new one the nearest Suzuki dealer was an hour and 45 minutes away.  Too far for her, and same thing...what happens if she needs warranty work? So she got a Jeep.

This is the problem, their dealer base is god awful.  They have this amazing Kisashi coming out but how are thet going to sell them with 8 dealerships in the whole country....(that's a joke BTW)....but it's a big problem.

Ditto.
There is only One Official Suzuki dealer in the Portland area and I
wouldn't trust them to change my oil....
The one I bought my Aerio SX from (Greshem) stopped selling Suzukis. :-\

MAYBE THEY SHOULD BUILD ANOTHER SAMURAI  CAUSE THE GOOD ONES OUT THERE ARE ASKING DARN CLOSE TO THE BASE PRICE OF A NEW ONE WHEN THEY CAME OUT  :P   AN AFFORDABLE FUN 4X4 IS WHAT IS NEEDED TO SPARK THE INTEREST OF US AMERICANS IN THESE HARD TIMES.   JUST MY THOUGHT.

Actually, I wouldn't mind the 2 door Vitara's they have over-seas right now.

...I was just in Switzerland and can't tell you how many Jimnys I saw...as well as Samurai and Vitara

As far as the Equator, good luck... I have a Frontier and Nissan can't sell 'em either...

I think they just don't market to Americans properly...and that goes for Nissan and VW as well, all 3 have a large Euro base, but not a lot going on here.

i would hate to see suzuki go away too cause i like there cars and suvs,we have several suzuki makes from sammies trackers x90 and forenzas. and love them but getting service for our newest cars is impossible in my area as the nearest dealer is over 2hrs away..
