Title: no fire to plugs

I changed the head gasket and the o ring on the distributor and now have no fire to the plugs. I've checked everything that could be checked and it all tests good and have all fire going to the distributor but none coming out. Please help ???

what specific year, model and motor?   all of that is helpful to solving your problem.

Sorry. It's an 87 samurai. I bought a parts truck that was also an 87 and the guy told me he had a valve job done and could never get fire to the plugs.

Mine is stock and ran perfect till I blew the gasket between 2 and 3. It makes no sense!

I've got the same year,  if your ignition module is bad, i'll do that,  as will bad plugs, the big primary coil on the firewall being dead, and many other potentials too.
