I have a 1988 Samurai with 5in. lift from Calmini has 32 1150x15 tires. how do I modified the sway bar? I do live in the city so I like to disconnect the sway to go offroad! Thanks for the help!

I don't know if the Sammy anti sway bars are hollow like the Tackicks, but on my Tracker I sawed it in half, inserted a 6" long smaller diameter pipe into one side 3" deep then welded it. Put it all back together inserting the pipe into the other half of the anti sway bar. Made sure the rig was level then drilled a 5/16" hole thru the unwelded side. Now I insert a 1/4" bolt thru the hole for street use, pull it for the trail. I've done this several different ways, but I think you get the idea.

That sounds like a good idea Tone, How about some photos?

Cool that's good idea but really some photos help a little thanks!

On a leaf sprung Samurai, just remove and recycle the sway bar. It is not needed. I'd say 95% remove it and never look back maybe even more...
Good luck, -Eric

I understand that! but do they live in a big city?

The sway bar is not so much for city driving as it is for on the highway and high speed maneuvers. Depending on how ruff the roads are in town you might find it a better ride without the sway bar.
