Title: Help build my Roll cage? Exo or inside?
Post by: S.Sidekick on February 22, 2010, 07:48:20 AM
hey so i am getting a roll cage built for a trade in some suzuki parts, also a frnt bumper and rock sliders.  The question is should i go with an exo or a inside one; i have a four door....  Also does anyone know how much wider a latter gen 4runner rear axle  is compared to my 84 front?  i just picked up a 89 rear, and 5 33" Tsl's on rims, i want to make my front just as wide.
thanks Jon k.

You'll need to add 1.5" on each side to match the rear. I have an exo on mine but it depends what you prefer

Personally I would go with Exo cage it will help protect the edges of your rig plus you won't lose any room inside of the cab.
