hey there so i sold my old tires and rims for 400 because i have toyota axles >:D But i was wondering what cheap mud terrain is a good tire for me to get. i looked at those re-treads, are they good? i am afraid to air those down... if not what would you recomend, i am thinking 33's.
P.S. if anyone wants stock sami wheels with tires for free let me know youll just cover shipping.

I looked up freight costs for shipping of those tires from WA to FL I used the zip codes you both posted on here, USPS will not do anything over 70lbs, for UPS to haul it you need to know the "freight class" I entered in a class of 70 with a 200lb weight with Residential Pickup and Residential Delivery, it came up to $587.31. That is just what I found for you guys, but with the right class and the right weight it will change the cost.

yeah, ouch. thats kinda not worth it for me then. you'd either have to ship each individually, or put it all on a pallet, which will still be expensive.

LOL yeah I about pooped a brick when I saw that price for the shipping it seems way high but like I said I don't know how much the tires weigh or what shipping class they would be listed as I did that little check to give you both a small starting place I was just bored lol and wanted to offer a small bit of help

I second the Desert Dogs. Although a retread. They are a great tire. I can only find 235's though which measure out to close to a 29".

treadwright makes good retreads. They say that they can handle the low offroad pressures without separating. One of the big 4X4 mags did a test on them a couple of years ago and they said they were a good tire.

cool, i would deff. go that rout but i need to know they will hold up. when i had my dafinity's i never aired them down because i was new. but my rims are 8" so the lowest i would go is like 25. you think thouse treadrights will do.

I looked into them a few years ago. The people at Treadright swear that their retreads will handle any offroad conditions as well as a regular tire. If you are interested call them up and talk to them, and see what they have to say. I have also read good things about them in forum posts by people who have used them.

cool ill do that. Just incase though, which super swamper will be a true measuer? what i mean is my old mts before the SAS said 30 but measured 28. Will the BFG measure what they say??

Super Swamper TSL SX, LTB, or TSL are good all of my friends run the TSL SX they dig and are cheaper but they are a bias tire they are definitely the best bang for the buck.

I know my father has Hankook Dynapro MT RT03 on his 2003 Ford F250 7.3L PSD 4x4, LT315/75R16E (10-ply) and he has 45,000 miles and counting, with lots of tread left. They're getting a little noisy now, but they didn't make noise until about 35,000 miles. And they're a really aggressive mud terrain, with great sidewall tread (for airing down). He's probably gonna get 50,000 or 60,000 miles out of them, depending on how much he keeps them rotated until then. But I'd definitely buy them again. I was going to get some for my Tracker, since they make all sorts of sizes (30x9.50, 31x10.50, 33s, 35s, etc.) but the tire shop had a deal on 5 MT/Rs instead I had to jump at the opportunity. Anyways, the Hankooks are a great tire and I know he will buy them again cause of the aggressive tread, low noise, and high life. Not something I'd expect from an aggressive mud terrain.
Edit: plus I think they are fairly inexpensive. Since it is a foreign tire, though, they are taxed an extra 30% per tire due to recent legislation ::)

33x12.50 TSL radials. Get a tire cutter and cut the chevrons in half. I ran these on my sammy and they did fine. "25 psi" ??? I ran 4 psi in the summer and 0-2 psi in the winter on my sammy. On the kick I never wheeled with more than 6 psi in the boggers.

ps. I didn't get the kick I looked at, so the lift is still unused.

Watch Craigslist, there are lots of toyota/chevy rims and tires at decent prices.
