Title: 95 4-sp auto TCM questions
Post by: Rhinoman on February 24, 2010, 12:18:12 PM: Does anyone have any information on what one of these does? I have one on the bench that I'm playing with, I have pulled the code from the software and I'm tracing out the circuitry. I have a wiring diagram which shows me which pin is which but I could do with some more info from someone with an FSM or who has knowledge of the 4 speed. Here in the UK we see more UFOs than we do auto transmissions.

I have a pin marked 'Light' which goes to the exterior lights system combination switch - Why???
Theres also a connection to the brake light switch - Why???
There is a lamp marked P/N but only the N switch appears to be wired to the TCM, does the lamp do anything in park???

I've read through it for other jobs many times and never came across any info on the 4 speed auto. That must be for a 4 door? I'll check again later today and see what I can find for you.

I know that there were a couple of people who were interested in fitting a 4-sp into an early model so I thought I'd have a look inside it. Suzukiinfo.com is down at the moment, I'll keep looking and see if I can find any other info.

I couldn't find the correct info there. I have found the wiring and some diagnostics info at this site:

I just need to work through it and see if it answers all my questions.
