How did I not hear about this?? ??? I work at a tire shop!! That's not cool, I like the old ones! :'( So anyhoo I ordered a KM2 to replace the old worn out spare on the Tracker. I figured I'll be switching to the new ones eventually when my KMs wear out. Anyone using them for daily drivers? Wondering what the wet/snow/ice traction is like, the old KMs are as good as to be expected for an m/t, and I just wanna make sure the new ones are at least as good. Any and all input is welcome!

I think you'll really like the KM2 model. I've had both and the KM2 is way, way better on road and off-road. To me it's like a Model-T vs. Ford Focus... much better technology.
Hope that helps, -Eric

Good to hear it, that does help alot! I was a little disappointed to hear that the originals were discontinued, but the new ones are supposed to have a 33% stronger sidewall and the new tread looks like it'll do better in the soupy stuff. I'm glad to hear that they're that much better!
Thanks for the heads up, Eric!

They needed stronger sidewalls anyway. :D

Im running 35" KM2's on my dodge and 30" on my tracker both as daily drivers and they r great. I thin k they r actually quiter than the old ones as well

Oh yes, much queiter. I am amazed at how smooth and quiet this big lug tire is.

My problem is I need all the tread to be covered because of UK law. Its just covered now, with the big lugs on the sidewall its not legal.

fender flares....I got a set of rubber ones on mine, the cover a 15.5" wide tire!
