I have a 88 Samurai rebuilt 1.3 with a 32/36 Weber its was fine this morning! i drove about 20 miles. The engine only has about 53 mile on it run good but I can't get to idle right at this time it dies i adjust the idle mixture how many time out should i go? right its at 1 1/2 can anyone help Please.

couple of things to try-
pull the idle jets(the ones on the sides) to make sure they  are not plugged.
     check # on them while you have them out- Probably #60?
idle mixture screw out 2 turns (to start with)
idle speed screw in 1 1/2 turns from touching lever(choke open).
after warm up try adjusting idle mixture to get best idle- if in more than 1 1/2 turn increase idle jet size.
                                                                               out more than 2 turns try smaller size.
did you install this carb?
vacuum leaks have bad effects.

Yes i did installed it! i had it rebuilt by a carb. shop!

make sure that manifold/carb adapter isn't leaking.
don't over-tighten anything.
main jets probably 140
air correction 160-165
idle jets|removethispart|@60
that ought to work (to start with)
i like webers.
there should be a "factory" adjustment bloggy thing on the googleweb somewhere.
are you using a pressure regulator? i'm still using my stock fuel pump.
fuel pressure less than 3# or it may flood.
float level very important.
i have mine mounted w/bowl to firewall. helps when climbing.

Thanks! yeah it was the adaptor where loose! its all good now! thanks for ur help. I had the reg. on but its seems not to work so i left it off runs a little better but it smokes a little it only has about 55 mile on the rebuilt enging with flat top pistons & a cam with hearders?

glad you figured it out.
i'm in the process of overhauling suzi's motor now. gotta have it back together next month so i can wear it in a little before my fishing season gets going.

if your running a weber. make sure u put the pressure reg on it.  I am running a elec pump  the carb worked fine till I was wheeling. then when u start bumping around it will flood out and run like crap   set mine at 3 lbs also
