got a 5 spd 4x4 tracker. just did the clutch and going to do fluid today. havent had time to really look into it but is it just the plug on the t case to drain it all????????? or tranny have some also?

The T-case and Trans have their own plugs and oil supply, so you
need to do each of them

welp got enough fluid to do it all. went to drain tcase and ya dribble dribble... was almost empty.when i tryed tran bolts couldnt get either to budge. tryed to heat them and still wouldnt budge. so just put it and and will keep an eye out for another tranny just in case

My t-case was jumping out of 4 low, when I pulled the plug
to put in the 4.24:1 low range t-case gears I got about 6 oz
fluid, and it never looked like it was dripping, so I think it was
getting out thru the slip yoke and getting spun out onto the
body and ground. SO Always check your fluids, even if you don't
think there is a need

when I get under my zukes I look for two things....shinny parts and oily parts. the shinny means something is not right. there is something loose or broken. If you don't believe me then get under your rig. It's dirty under there and shinny parts don't exist.
As for oily well my zukes all leak somewhere so I've got to watch the fluids. I know from a leak or sprung a leak so I just watch for any changes.
When we've got a run planned I check the zuke 3-4 days before. it gives me a chance to do any work missed from the last outing. U-joints, shinny parts, oil leaks, tire pressure.
