hi all,
does anyone know if it possible to fit a GV 2.5 V6 into a 1600 93 vitara/sidekick or does anyone know where i might be able to find an adapter plate to fit the transfer box to a GV 5 speed manual transmission as i have a rare transfer gearing from rockhopper of 150% reduction and don't really want to get rid of it.
all comments are welcome and appreciated
thanks

You could just swap the rockhopper gears into the GV transfer case, they should be interchangable but it might pay to check with Big Balls Offroad.

As I understand it they won't fit the GV V6 manual setup due to a different shaft length but I could be interested in them if you no longer need them ;D

Your option is to get an automatic transmission if you want to keep your gearset. The engine does fit quite well...
Good Luck, Eric

No, stay manual and I'll take the gears ;)
