I hav e 95 Tracker 2 door auto ,air ,ps. The last night when I drove it ran great. This morning all it does is crank over with no fire. I put a timing belt and water pump on it last summer at about 115,000 miles. It now has 116,000 miles. Where do I start oo make it run again?

i bet the fuel driver in your computer went out, it happens all the time.
in other words you may need a new computer.
you can try jumping 12 volts to your fuel pump and see if it starts.

95s aren't really prone to the bad ECM problem....so my bet would be it is something else. I posted up quite a few possibilities on your zu post.

Don't go crazy trying to figure this out, an engine needs 3 things to run,
fuel, spark and compression, since this engine ran great when you parked
it, it has to be fuel or spark, so to test fuel, shoot some starting fluid into
the intake, take off the air cleaner and give it a 1 second burst, turn the key,
if it starts and stalls, you have a fuel system problem, if it doesn't start you
have an ignition problem.
Go try this and report back what happened

Does your Check Engine light come on when you turn the key on before you crank it?

Another thing to consider. just because the battery can crank it DOES NOT mean it has enough power to fire the spark plugs as well. if the battery has been sitting for awhile, throw a charger on it overnight and let it charge before you go all nuts.

The Tracker was my daily driver until this happened so I doubt it is the battery. Also it ws new when I did the timing belt and water pump last summer. As far as the check engine light I have had this problem for quite some time. It would come on and I would reset it by pulling battery leads. Would go long time before it came back on. Other posters have told me not to worry too much about it so I didn't. I have been driving with it on until this no start thing happened. I do not have a code reader.

Isn't there a problem were if the fuel pressure sensor is not working the system shuts down the fuel pump on the 16v engines?

You don't have a code reader? You don't have a paperclip, eyes, and can count flashes? Those are all you need for reading codes on a 95.

MY KICK HAD ISSUES STARTING WHEN IT WOULD POOR RAIN LIKE CRAZY A LITTLE SPRAY OF WD 40 TO THE WIRES & CAP AREA AND SHE WOULD USUALLY FIRE UP NOPE NOTTA, THIS TIME. BUT NEW TUNE UP (LONG OVER DUE) AND NOTTA SO I TURNED THE KEY ON AND LISTENED FOR THE FUEL PUMP TO RUN A FEW SECONDS AFTER BUT NOTHING. SO PULLED TANK OUT PULLED FUEL PUMP OUT AND CHECKED BY PUTTING POWER AND GROUND TO THE WIRES AND NOTHING. NEW FUEL PUMP AND WALLA SHE FIRED UP. P.S. DON'T FORGET THE RUBBER GASKET :P SO CHECK TO SEE IF FUEL PUMP IS WORKING???
