The fuel pump relay on that vehicle should come on for 3 to 5 seconds when you turn the key to the run position. It should then turn off. It'll turn back on during the engine crank and will stay on once the engine is running.

Ive check the ohm readings on the fuel pump relay and main relay too and they both read what the book says they should read suthin is tellin the fuel injector too dump lots of fuel before ignition is in crank mode there for the plugs are flooded with fuel im thinkin its a ecm problem

I got it too run long enough too get the code off of it the check engine light blinked twice with a 3 sec pause then it blinked 3 times which according too my book that is a air temperture sensor i took it out and measured the ohms on it and i couldnt get it too read anything no matter if the water was cold or hot so im guessing maybe that could be it dont know? What do the sammy pro's think?

I guess it could be getting a freezing cold signal and injecting
a cold start fuel amount, did you check the MAP vacuum line,
if it's off it will run like that too

Problem fixed it was the o ring at the bottom of the fuel injector thanks too wildgoody or i would have never figured that out great guy thanks!

So the oring was not there (or not sealing) and allowing the fuel to be pumped straight into the throttle body by bypassing the fuel injector, right?

For future reference.....
The fuel pump relay just builds fuel pressure (by activating the fuel pump)....it doesn't control the firing or spraying of the injector (the ECM does that)....so the fuel pump relay would not cause the fuel injector to dump fuel into the throttle body (that is, assuming the oring is sealing off the fuel like it is supposed to).
