Title: More Engine Horses??

What can I have done (head work etc,) to give my 95 EFI 1.6 more power??



I was coming out of a town after 4WDing last weekend and a mate was following me in his Jimny.

So I thought I would give it a bit through the gears to see if he could keep up.

Looked to my left and there was a speed camera, thinking to my self Bugger there goes a ticket, looked down at the speedo and I was not even doing 60klms. :D

If I was on the bike it would have been 150+ ;D

Well, what you could do is get a 305 and drop it in. you'll have to cut your fire wall about 8 inch. if thats not an option then a cams, header, exhaust system, air intake, msd ignitions system. turbo charge it, add you could add a chip, but i don't know if that really works or not. by the time you spend all that money you could of droped a bigger engine, somehting to consider. pierre

There are a heap of things I could do if I had heaps of money.

There is a guy here runing a Nissan GTRi engine and that goes but I was just thinking about head work, extractors, exhaust, etc
What can be done and what are the gains??

wildgoody is offering to sell turbos for under $2000. that is good for 130 and up hp.
