Title: Tie rod end question

Quick question regarding outer tie rod ends.  I just replaced mine, and I'm a little concerned.  The after market ends were approximately an inch shorter on the threaded rod, it still threads into the adjuster arm about an inch, but is that enough?

An inch of thread should be plenty.
