In an older sammy there are 4pins for the spider gears. The 91 and up has two pin carriers. So there are only two spider gears. As far as being a bad thing. If you want to put a locker in the front you need a 4pin. It'll be okay for awhile even with some good use. ;D

Snag it quick, Fuel injection is the ticket. The vehicle is worth the extra cash, don't be fooled by our carbed brethern. Suspension will work just fine and you can always upgrade the front to arb locker and not worry about the stock carrier.

I have a 94  exactly the same its great and i have the TT yj in the rear spoa  yes its 2 pin but unless you want a front locker  that just fine I have a TT hybrd rear locked   with 5.13 and a 4 pin front withthe same so that is solved only down side is no back seat but thats ok jsut drill holes and put one in .. or just use it for tools
get it quick thats the best looking grill IMHO

Do they sell different front lockers for the 91 and newer, or are they the same? Is that 2 pin any weaker then the 4 pin, or is it 2 stronger pins? Just wondering because i have a 91, and was contemplating the lockers. I was just going to weld the thing, the cheaper the better thats the lakeview motorsports way!

2 pins the same size, only half as many as the earlier ones. There is no locker for the 2 pin.

2 pins r fine i run 33 on my 95 and a 1.6 16 valve that bolts right to the fuelinjection and computer. i haven't broke anything but hub fuses. thoser things save alot of axles.
