Title: TRACKER question
Post by: Dennisr on April 02, 2010, 11:25:15 PM
just purchased a 93 tracker.... Its got a 3 inch calmini lift and currently running 31x10.5 BAJA CLAWZ. It looks good just needs to sound gnarly too. Question is which  muffler should i purchase. Calmini? Flowmaster? Cherrybomb? probably going to use 2inch tubing.  Thanks in advance!

if it's a stock engine, its gonna sound like a lawn tractor no matter what you do. why spend the money untill its time for some new exhaust. sounds Like you got a great starter if its already got suspension tho.

ya sound like a good deal.. my geo has no exhaust just the down pipe  and header and its almost too loud and gnarly...... i would look around for a exhaust. guy here in town has an exhaust like the corvetttes had , pipes run down the sides and out in front of the tires... looks kool but still same lawnmower effect

I know when I bought mine it had a Thorley header, hi-flow cat, and a small "turbo" muffler.  The muffler is a DynoMax muffler.  It's about enough to set off some car alarms in a parking garage at the right RPM, but definitely not very loud, which is good since it's a hunting vehicle for me.  Got a good rumble though.
