Title: Broken dimmer switch for dashboard lights

I have an 88 Samurai. Any way to bypass the dimmer switch for the dashboard lights so that it is just on or off? i tried using a jumpers but didn't work. thanks

Anyone know where I can get one for cheap, dealer wants $83. I'll use a flash light before I spend that lol.

A jumper wire will work fine for bypassing the switch.  You just didn't hook it up to the correct wires.  I can find out later which wires you are supposed to jumper and post back, if you are still wondering.

got the jumper to work.. jump red/green to ground. thanks for the help man. just need that little extra to take a different view on it.
