Title: 86 headrest

can't figure out how to remove headrests from my 86 sammy(the see thru type).can someone please help?

on mine there are clips that slide into the little plastic things on top of the seat backs, both gone. so my head rests wot stay up,


like the little square plastic thing above the center heater vents that are missing too. I need to find and install.

are yours  the see thru type? mine have no plastic clip and are all the way down and wont budge.

mine are the soild head rest on an 88, low back grey buckets, they slide up and down, have 3 notches for adjustment but without the clips they just slide all the way down. Im thinking of painted pvc tubing untill I find the clips.
