ok where the steering stabalizer attaches to the cross member in front where the tow loop is. I need someone to measure from inside of frame to where the stabilizer attaches to see the distance.
Also do you think if I drilled a hole with a bolt running through the new cross member I made and attach the steer stabalizer to that if it would be strong enough?

7 1/2 in.. And i would think it would be strong enough. There's no real heavy pressure transfered through a stabalizer. But you could run a small tubing sleeve for the bolt to pass through the main crossmember tube. If that's how your going to mount it.

A bolt would be plenty strong. Universal stabilizers normally come with funky U-bolt style mounts.
Seen quite a few people running that style with no problems.

If you switch to a Toyota stabilizer it is longer by several inches and gives you more wiggle room when it comes to mounting. I run mine from the pitman arm over to the frame on the opposite side.

What I did was cut the old bracket off and welded it to the new bar I put in.
