so far i have put a new coil, cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter and checked fuel pressure i also wired the coil and distributor to direct power to make sure it wasnt a computer problem i dont have a catylitic converter ai run a flex pipe from the headers to a harley exhaust this is my daily driver and has ran perfect since i rebuilt the motor 6 months ago until this morning thanks for the help and i hope i got all the info you need

only thing I can imagine is weak fuel pressure, or a clog somewhere in your fuel line that you're not aware of.   most likely at the carb itself.

i pulled of the fuel line from the carb and turned on my fuel pump and it had good pressure up to there about 10 psi if i held my thumb over the end of the line and if i removed it it would spray about a foot out of the line when the engine is running it sits at 6 psi exactly thanks to a inline holley regulator and fuel pressure gauge. but thanks for the thought im at a loss to and i know my samurai better than my wife

Look for water or crap in the carb, that's the only thing that I can think of

by chance did any previous owner modify any wiring?   its not uncommon for issues of this sort to be tied directly to shoddy wiring modifications done by ghetto engineers.

Sounds to me more like it's flooding, Ive run a weber carb before & it was recommended to run 2-3 psi. If the regulator is adjustable, try turning it down & see what happens. Hth
