any one have those hard plastic Summit Racing seats in there Sam's ? I need new seats and the choices are....///\\\...
1. Stock Seat covers from the Dealer, (bend over )
2. Tracker seats, easy to find and usally cheeeeep
3. Wild color Summit racing sears with covers

i had them years ago in my old sammy, HATED them. hard to get into and uncomfortable. but with some extra padding slipped under cover could be ok, a friend did that in his sandrail and they were much better.
-
I like them, but anyone under 6' that tries to use them hates the way they fit. Much better with the extra seat cover/padding on long days.
-
I hated them also(over 6') Either get some junkyard seats like neon or a couple guys have used WRX seats, or save your pennies and get some good suspension seats.
-
Dam, I was just at the junk yard looking, the better half went to see what a yard was all about and she made the best of the Port O pottie (-:
4 door tracker seats wont fit and a swift wont either< i walked right by several Neons and one Subaru but all of not all were in horrible shape

1 day in plastic seats and it felt like I had been drug down a bumpy street on my back!
On the bright side....there really weather resistant! ;)

I have been looking at seats from a Polaris RZR. They are the same size as the original samurai seats and they are water proof. They are easy to find because most people upgrade there Polaris RZR with racing seats so they can have the 4 point harness. Lots of them for sale. They have lots of padding and an aluminum frame. I find a set for $200 in the local paper.
