seems as though I keep blowing 10A fuses for the horn on my rig, which doesnt make much sense since all my contacts are clean, there dont appear to be shorts anywehre I'm able to find, but still I have a weak-ish sounding horn and blow fuses in it.
any ideas?

Try a 15 A fuse, or put in a different relay?

relay? where might I find this relay located in the truck? I wasnt aware there even is one. but I dont doubt its possible to be my problem.

Don't know in the sammy, probably under the dash or in the fuse block.
You could put in another fuse, or get a circuit breaker type, they reset
when they cool down, and they don't blow fast like a fuse does.
When you push the horn you should hear a clicking sound, that will be
the relay, and if the horn is disconnected you should be able to hear it
if there isn't too much noise outside

have an 1988.5 sammy and i found the horn relay under the dash below the dimmer switch left hand side. took off the cover under the steering wheel used a mirror to get a better view. it is held with one screw to the plastic dash.
